Practicing Creativity Release: Rejoice!

Thanks for all your guesses yesterday! Deena had my favorite guess of the day "I'll make one serious guess and one silly guess. My serious guess is Bible verses/religious sentiments. My silly guess is that one set was inspired by Saved by the Bell. (which I'm watching right now before work!)"

Any mention of SBTB and I smile! I sure did love that show. Many of you got one of the sets right! Karen designed Rejoice! which has some beautiful verses, stars, and a shape that works with the Labels 1 die from Spellbinders and all the verses fit inside!

For my card I wanted to go all glam. I started off with a 4.5" square, using the label stamp, I stamp it over and over to create a really fun pattern.
I then used two of our new ribbons that will be for sale on November 5. Aren't they so pretty?

I wish you could see how the shine, glitterly feel of the black ribbon and how just beautiful that dark silver pleated satin is! The design team and I will all be picturing shots of the insides of our cards as well. Check out how great the label stamp works with the verse!

And now for the super talented design team! Click on their names to go to their projects with more details.

I'm a little bit obsessed with this card from Paulina! Isn't that pattern shes created just gorgeous? She used Retro Christmas Backgrounds and Rejoice! Rejoice! works great to coordinate the outside and inside of your Christmas cards.

Karen always has such great graphic style. I adore how she used this set. I'd say it's probably the opposite of how I used it (glam all the way), and she shows just how flexible this set truly can be!

Dana rocks this gorgeous color combination! I seriously love so much about this card!

Go check out these girl's blogs for more details on all their fabulous cards!

Make sure you check back tomorrow where we'll show you sneak peeks from our other set that's releasing his month!

My family always reads the Christmas story from Luke each Christmas... it's a tradition. What's Christmas traditions does your family have?

one of my family christmas traditions is that everyone must eat breakfast together before there is any present opening. if christmas is on a sunday then you must go to church first, then eat, and then presents. however, stockings are fair game from the moment you awake.

Beautiful work ladies! Growing up we would go to Christmas Eve Service and the go look at all the Christmas lights and luminaries at the next neighborhood over. It was a tradition for them to set the luminaries out on Christmas Eve down their driveways and the Streets looked amazing.

Lovely cards!!

My dad is the pastor of a church, so we always attend the church's Christmas Eve service together...and it is always very special. My favorite part is singing Silent Night by candlelight.

What a gorgeous "Rejoice"!!!! My family always ate a Christmas breakfast together before doing anything else! I am looking forward to starting some new traditions with Juan and my step-kids now that we are here with them!
