It's been snowing her like crazy, and let me tell you it doesn't really snow much in Nashville. I just wanted to post a few pictures:

Pretty early in the day everyone in the neighborhood started to come out. That meant that Maddie just sat at the window and begged to go out.
We finally obliged her (although not for long).
Maddie loves kids and all the neighborhood kids love her. Seriously at one time Maddie had ten kids following her around.
Here's Chase being a kid again. The hill we live on is a great one for sledding.
Here's my favorite thing thought, one of our neighbors brought out their kayaks to sled in. Who know, but it was so fun. We probably had 25 neighbors out on the hill at one time. Such am great way to get to know them better. If only it snowed more!

The Final CHA Video!

Well before we get to the video I wanted to show you a quick card I made for one of the local scrapbook stores. The store had given me a piece of Creative Imaginations Real Wood. The card came out way more fall like than I wanted, I guess that's what you get with me and real wood.

It's simple but I just wanted you to get a look at it. It's pretty cool stuff!

And now for the moment you've all been waiting for ... the final CHA video. I know we are tired of us too! When we recorded this I couldn't believe how long we talked about products, booths, make and takes, etc. However in the I really had fun making this video with Kelly. She's such a great friend, and it was so fun getting to hang out with her at CHA. Enjoy!

You can also view this over at YouTube here.

It's time for another EBTKS challenge, and I think you'll love this one. The product Winter choose is super versatile! So, are you curious... here it is:

Cute right? The little box is from our first EBTKS sponsor Kelleigh Ratzlaff. She makes these super fun templates and has been nice enough to sponsor the prize for this week. And not only that if you just participate in this challenge you'll get a 40% off $15 or more coupon to her store. She actually has a free one on her site as well that you might want to check out!

A Video and an American Crafts Giveaway

Kelly and I talked about making a video every night that we got back from CHA. Somehow we managed to pull it off on the last night. I look tired don't I? And let's just say we like to talk, so this is a three part series. We hope you'll enjoy part 1. You will see a lot of the product we got at the Super Show in this first one.

You can also view the video here. Youtube and I did not get along for this video. Seriously it took forever to load.

And to make the video even more fun, as promised here the CHA giveaway I promised.

This is a collection of American Crafts paper, all new! Letterbox has been out for a little while but it's pretty new. The other collections are Abode and Botanique and both are brand new and so great.
Ah so pretty.

To win  just leave a comment below! I'll pick a winner on Sunday, January 31.

Stamp It! Cards 2010

Well I can't say I'm not ecstatic to write this post, because I totally am. A lot of times I refrain from talking about getting published here on my blog because honestly I know what it feels like to not get published. However I decided to post about my first ever published card to encourage you to stick with it. Let me tell you it is work, and you will get disappointed (remember my old SWSWSWMO (some will, some won't, so what, move on)). However, if this is something you want you can make it happen. Really.

So here it is my first pub:

And honestly the photographers for the magazine make it look even better, so you'll have to check it out there as well here. It truly is one of my favorite issues in awhile, and I promise it's not because I'm in there. It's really that good!

And while you are there you should  buy Elizabeth Kartchner's new book. I couldn't sleep at all on the plane thanks to it. I literally took notes. So good. And she's so cute in person.

Thank You!

*********Scroll Down for yesterday's CHA activities!

I probably shouldn't say this, but I'm crazy in love with this card. I realize that I'm not the best with my copic markers, but I do enjoy using them from time to time, especially when it fits my style. These little flowers came in a sentiment set by Hero Arts and I just can't get enough of them. I really didn't even notice them when I bought the set (my first Hero Arts set ever), but they ended up being one of my favorite thing about the set.

I also wanted to give you a little Maddie update. Maddie has done really well over the first four months we've had her. We no longer even have to put her up during the days. It's been nice. She doesn't really event chew things... that is except for this (please notice the lack of leaves):

She loves the plant. And this is what I came home to a few days ago.

And the best thing is Maddie always knows she's in trouble. When I came home to this I couldn't even find Maddie she was hidding under the bed. So cute.

CHA Trade Show Day 2

What a great day! Today was my last day at CHA. I'm heading back to Nashville tomorrow, and as great at CHA is I'm 100% missing Chase and Maddie. I still can't believe I'm missing a dog. Six months ago I would have laughed at myself.

Okay back to business. I got to meet Kim Jackson today. I so enjoyed the 30 minutes we got to walk around with her. She's seriously just as great in person! (Just click on any of the pictures below to increase in size).

Today I wanted to really focus on some specific products I'm excited about. First up is the Pink Paislee pleated ribbon.

Isn't it amazing. Cheak out these samples.

Next up, this amazing riboon by Webster.

And to be honest I wasn't just crazy about Basic Grey's stuff (of course that is outside of Orgins that I'm obsessed with). However, check out thse... I can totally show you a tutorial if you are interested. I learned how to make these at a VERY young age.

And how cute are these. Okay, okay I'll move on from the dog stuff.

Hambly ... swoon. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Jillybean soup has some super nice people helping. I'm hoping my local scrapbook store will carry the new goods!

Julie this is totally for you. Making Memories' new Jewelry line.

Check back for a video later this week where Kelly and I recap everything from CHA, and a giveway of some just released product!

The big show.

Can I tell you how amazing CHA is? I'm still in love with the stuff I saw today, and there is still so much I haven't seen yet. Here's pictures from today's fun.

Kelly and Tiff ready to get started at the trade show.

Here's some of my favorite booths today (I still have so many to see):

October Afternoon

American Crafts (um this may or may not be a feature giveaway hint hint).

Simply Renee

Graphic 45 (love those doors)

Pink Paislee

kj

Cosmo (love love love it all)

Hambly (love love love them too. Can their booth be any more fun?)

Little Yellow Bicycle (Isn't their booth cool?)

And look who I met today?

Jenni Bowlin the other Mt. Juliet, TN girl! And can I just say her and her team are so sweet. Really, I can't say enough good things about them!

As soon as I hit post I'm heading straight to bed. I'll be back tomorrow with more pictures!

CHA Day 2.

I'm tired, really tired. This will be pretty short, but I wanted to show a few of the pictures I took today.
I spotted Amy out of the crowd. She looks just like her picture, and she's just so cute.

I also got to meet Maile Bells! I love her work, and she is just as sweet in person.
p.s. so making a card out of the flowers on her headband.

This lady needs zero introduction.

And talking to both Kims was so fun. Both were a riot.

After a lot of shopping (anyone feeling a giveaway coming soon), I got to go to a Hero Arts class thanks to Lisa (thank you). Check out the line to get in. Um maybe not. After second review I realized I got a very unflattering picture of someone's tail gate. Trust me, you don't want to see it.

Check  out the messy hands from a Claudine Hellmuth class.

I got to eat dinner with some amazing paper crafters/bloggers. However, what I liked most is that these girls are really as fantastic in real life as they are on their blogs.

Oh and here's me with the TravelingMama herself.

 and again...

And one final one heading home. I just like this one.

Tomorrow is the trade show. Let me know if there is a specific brand you want to make sure I get a photo of!
