Well, I just can get enough argyle. Really I seriously love the stuff, but actually this card started when I wanted to use this amazing ribbon. I've had it for over a month now, and I've been completely unable to use it. However, as I have a rule that I can't buy until I use ribbon ... I'm finally breaking it out.
Back to the argyle. I stamped several roles of black diamonds on naturals ivory cardstock, then I used my text style set and stamped vintage cream over it. I honestly meant to use vintage cream cardstock, but apparently my filing system isn't 100% fool proof. In the end I like the different shades of cream. You know me I love my neautrals!
And of course I have to keep using my favorite key. I just love it hanging sideways.
So that brings me to a questions. How do you clean your acrylic blocks? My largest one has this gross film on it. I've cleaned it every way I know how and it just isn't a clear as I need! Help!

I've started to see some cards made with Key to My Heart out in blogland! So exciting. See Julie's card here. Isn't it cute?
And you can purchase your own set here!

Don't forget about Winter's St. Jude card drive! You have the rest of the month to send her cards! I know she has started to receive cards already. As a girl that has recently stepped out there to do something new, it certainly helps confirm what you are doing when you have others participate!

SO CUTE! I haven't even inked up that argyle part yet...EEK! Love your card, and thanks for the shout-out! :)
Terrific card!
Oooh, Courtney, I love this! The argyle, the OA patterned paper, and the ribbon are delish!
The argyle looks really good here...and I love that you hung the key sideways..cool! :)
Love the striking effect from the argyle! You did an awesome job marrying this beautiful ribbons with the lovely stamp of YOURS! I'm inspired!!!
I love that, just great!!!
Gorgeous Courtney!
Cool Card Courtney. I wish my husband didn't get laid off otherwise I would have ordered it already. About your question regarding the clear block-have you attempted to clean it with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol? I know that a CTMH lady mentioned this for the stamp part, and I would think that would work for the block too.
Such thee elegant card!
I forgot to mention that I clean my acrylic blocks using a Mr. Clean magic eraser. I saw a tip on SCS about it and it works wonders!!! I now have a couple in my stamp room. :) It takes all the ink right off with a little water.
Such an elegant card! i love the argyle with the text over it!
For the worst-stuck-on mess, I use rubbing alcohol on my acrylic blocks.
Gorgeous... love the colors! I like the key hanging sideways as well!! Way cute!
I can see why your "obsessed" with argyles because your stamp is so amazing! This is a fabulous card and I like how you stamped with the cream. I clean my acrylic blocks with mild dish soap but I've also been known to rub some PTI stamp cleaner on them, too. Hope that helps! ♥♥ Kay
Courtney, I used your set for Dawn's color challenge and gave you a shout out! I LOVE your argyle and key! Just FAB! As far as cleaning the film off my blocks, once I realized the dishwasher wasn't the way to go and had to replace some blocks - OOPS! - I found a cloth in the CTMH catalog and believe it or not it works GREAT! without any cleaning solution. After I clean the stamps and peel them off the block, I rub the block with the cloth and it's like magic!
This is fabulous!!
I was so excited to see my Practicing Creativity package in the mail, but I've been so busy that I haven't been able to ink it up yet. Tomorrow that will all change!! I've been loving all the different looks you been showing with the set - thanks for all the inspiration. I'm just so excited to create some argyle :)
Love the way you stamped the text over the diamonds. Very classy-looking!
