rasberry suite color challenge.

Today I came home and I was just so happy. It is gross and rainy here, but seriously spring just make me happy. So I decided I would just share some things that made me smile as I got home today.

A package from Brit (thank you girl) at my front door. These gorgeous flowers that will soon be planted in my backyard. Coming home to a made bed. My husband is so great about doing this for me. Mansfield Park. The fact that my man is not afraid to golf with his buddies and use a hot pink tee (found this while cleaning out pockets before washing). Oh and it looks more orange in this picture, but I promise it's HOT PINK. Plus I got to make a card. My friend Mary Anna had surgery yesterday and well work just isn't the same without her, so I made her a card! MAB if you are reading, you'll have this card on your desk when you get back. I also decided to use the colors from Dawn McVey's color challenge. This card is a different size - 3.5x6.5. I think I love the Top Notz Die going sideways the best. I think it's an interesting twist. Here's what I used:

Stamps: Ashley's Bouquet (My Cute Stamps); Whimsical Birds (The Paper Company Studio)
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue
Ink: Craft White, VersaMark
White Ebossing Powder, Basic Grey Letters, Chip Chatter ChipBoardHappy May Day

What a beautiful card, and the gesture behind it!

What did you do with the ribbon?! :-)

I wish I had some gardening skills! I polish them by taking care of one single little tree. If it survives, I'll consider taking on more! :-)

You did a great job with the challenge. This is sure to cheer up your friend. I'm ready to do some challenges. Right now, I'm taking a break from painting, but I need some time in the craft room!
