Scrapbooking with Misspelled Words

Yep, that's right. You are about to see a scrapbook page with an obvious misspelling. My problem was that I was starting in the middle and working backwards. I was really never good at that portion of cranium. Apparently my cranium just doesn't do backwards, and I'm okay with that. I did fix it, but it was after my photo. You all will forgive my mistake though, right?

So I've been in the scrapping mood lately, so since it hit I went for it. I just did a really simple layout about our trip to sPrinkles in Chicago.

Actually that night our entire dinner consisted of 4 Sprinkles cupcakes and popcorn from Garrets. I have to admit it was an AMAZING dinner.

Random question... anyone listen to classical music while they create? I did tonight, and for some reason I'm feeling rather creative (and productive). Maybe it's just a coincidence.

Happy to know I am not the only one that does this! I listen to classical music mostly if I am painting, but sometimes when I am just in my craft room doing whatever too, but most always if I am painting.

It took me a couple of looks...okay, like 3 looks to find the misspelled word. LOL My brain isn't as sharp as it used to be when I worked outside the home. Wonderful layout!

hee hee, LOVE those photos Court! And who cares that it's misspelled?! Makes it fun. *wink*

I too only stamp while listening to classical or celtic. Supposed to reach areas of the brain that other music doesn't. Can't hurt, right?

yum! Did you see the latest shop I featured on Traveling Tribe? It is a cupcake shop, the first in Denmark, that is like Sprinkles. It's heavenly!

Oh, and I love your scrapbook page! That paper is so cute!

Haha... no worries about the mistake. The "cuteness" of the page totally makes up for it! LoL... Plus, I really like how you did your journaling on the side using the curves of the patter paper. What a great idea, Courtney! :)
Oh, and as for music... yup, I have indeed listened to classical before. Actually I listen to almost anything! Whatever gets my creativity flowing at the moment. Many times, I even listen "talk radio" shows on my iPhone. LoL... Sorry for the rambling! Love your layout!... And the fun photos too! :)

I love your journaling on your page - very cute! I don't have much for classical music in my iTunes, but I hear it's supposed to be good to get the creative juices going!

HA HA!! Love that layout girl - and I remember that night! Dawn and I never found Sprinkles while we were in Chi-town...and the line at Garret's was a mile long! But we did make up for it with some awesome pizza!! I always scrap/stamp to Pandora radio...I am always making up new playlists and finding inspiring songs! Have you checked that out? I even have a "classical" music one that's really inspiring :) Hope all is well!!! XOXO!
