We're going retro, Retro Christmas that is...

Yep, that's right. This month is all about retro! Okay, so maybe you didn't get Retro Christmas from our hints, but both sets have some very nostalgic influences. I'll show you more about that later this week, but I bet you'd like to see our cards!

I wanted to create a scene with my first card. It was so fun to do. My card has both sets, Retro Christmas (designed by Karen) and Retro Christmas Backgrounds that I designed. And honestly both sets can easily be used after Christmas. More on that later this week.

Isn't that reindeer so cute? The nose and antlers are actually separate stamps, so for the rest of the year, you can just use it as a cute deer!
And check out the design team! Such super cute cards, and several that would be great for reproducing!
How cute is this card? I'm seriously thinking of making my own version of Dana's card for my Christmas cards. I just love the kraft, blue, green with those white stamped images. So so so cute!
Isn't  Paulina's card just too cute? There are three different Christmas trees in the Retro Christmas, and that houndstooth is in Retro Christmas backgrounds.  Paulina is the queen of backgrounds, and I just love how she used them here. Super cute.
Karen's card so remind me of her clean graphic style, but with a really fun homespun twist. Have I mentioned lately how excited I am each month to see what Karen has in store!

This month we have a few Guest Designers! You are just going to love what they have made!

Jackie Solomon is always amazing me with what she makes using Practicing Creativity stamps, and this is certainly no exception. I just love the way she used the shape on the left with the ornaments.

I've been a fan of Heather Pulvirenti's work for a long time. Her use of color is always brilliant. Speaking of color how awesome is this card? So much fun!

Last, but certainly not least is last month's challenge winner, Christina MacLaren! Christina used the ornaments, and could they be any cuter? The string just makes this card! Don't you love that?

Go check out these girl's blogs for more details on all their fabulous cards!

And since today is World Card Making Day, I thought we'd have a little fun! Just make any card using a Practicing Creativity stamp! The winner will get to be a guest designer next month, and I also have Tattered Angels prize pack to give away! So go make a card, and come link it up below. You have until Friday, October 8th to enter!

We'll be back tomorrow to show you more with both sets, and some fun we had using a technique.
But before you leave, go retro and let us know you're favorite Christmas memory.

Hooray for Retro Christmas! What fabulous cards and I love the versatile nature of the reindeer stamp, antlers and nose!
My fave Christmas memory would be going to my grandparents on Christmas Eve - we'd have yummy food, family and to top it off, the exchanging of gifts! Ahhh, memories!

Favorite Christmas memory? There is NO possible way I could choose one favorite---there are so many. Instead I'll share one that is totally retro from my childhood. {I have an awesome photo to stand as proof of the retro. :) } I must have been six or seven. My downstairs tromp was greeted with a shiny, big bow-enhanced, banana-seat bicycle. Oh the joys of a childhood Christmas. Love the set. Can't wait for the full reveal.

Oh my! Those cards are beautiful! My husband is a hunter, so I can totally see how that deer stamp would work at other times of the year besides Christmas. What a creative team you put together Courtney!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these sneak peeks!! All of the sample cards are AWESOME!! Can't wait to see even more! I love the holiday season---especially snuggling up under a blanket by the fireplace with my husband and some hot tea, watching the snow fall outside our windows---and of course, our Christmas morning snowshoe ALWAYS provides beautiful memories!

Duh! Now that I know it's retro, the clues yesterday were obvious! LOL My espresso machine is broken, so my brain isn't working properly. :) Cute stuff! The ornaments are darling--can't wait to see more!

I forgot to mention my fav Christmas memory...I wanted a certain doll really bad when I was a kid and really hoped Santa would bring it. We opened all the gifts and I was trying to hide my disappointment when my Mom "found" another gift behind the couch and it was that doll. It's a memory I doubt I'll ever forget.

All very stunning ladies! Great way to display sneak peaks! My favorite Christmas Memory was always having family and friends over for open house on Christmas Eve and then when everyone left it was a tradition to hop in the car to go to look at Christmas light and the next neighborhood over set out luminaries, and then we would head home and set out milk and cookies for Santa and read "Twas the Night Before Christmas". I can't wait to see the rest...

Wow Retro Christmas. I love that reindeer.

When I was little my grand pa was playing Santa. It was so nice. I miss him a lot.

I can't wait to see these new sets.

Wow, this is way too cute! Loving all the sets from the fab DT as well! My fave Xmas memory would be waking up early to find gifts from Santa, even though we weren't at "home". We were in a hotel and I was worried Santa wouldn't find us -- what a relief! ;-)
