July Release - Let the guessing begin!

The design team and I have some fun stuff up our sleeves for this release! I feel like there is a little bit of me in each stamp set we do, but this one I feel that even more so. When I look at this set, it just feels like me... I know that's probably not much of a clue.

So here's the set (of course it's super distorted). I feel like this one is EASY. So guess away friends. I'll tally the comments for this release and send someone the new set.

Lately I've been thinking about how I've been blogging for 2 and half years, but even if you've been a reader from the very beginning (and trust me that first year was not pretty) there are still big things in my life you wouldn't know. So since this stamp set is so me I thought I'd share a few things that you may not know ... they may help you in your guessing.

1. My husband Chase and I didn't start dating until our senior year of college, but we had known each other since 5 grade and even went to the 6th grade dance together.
2. I played tennis in college on a scholarship.
3. I'm a marketing strategist for LifeWay Christian Resources, and I love it.
4. Other than making cards, I love decorating. If it didn't cost so much money I would have redecorated my house 4 times by now!

This stamp set will release on Monday June 5! Here is the schedule for this release, you certainly will want to check in tomorrow!

July 2: A special PCD challenge!
July 3: Card showcase by the design team
July 4: Video tutorial and cards!
July 5: Release!

hmmm...I'm going to guess Tennis ball and...ummm..guess that's it!

I think I'm going to have to go with palm trees as well, although i don't think trees have anything to do with the things you shared and there was a tree in your last set. Hmmmmm...tricky!!
I can't wait to see what it is!
Thanks for sharing a bit about you. It's always nice to learn to know a little more about the people whose blogs we read.

Looks like an anchor, palm leaves, mushroom and maybe a tree trunk??
You say this is super easy?? LOL! Maybe because you already know what it is!! :)
Good distortion...hope I'm atleast close on my guess!

I saw the image and thought...hmm, this one is hard! Then I kept reading and you said you thought it was easy! LOL Maybe something to do with tennis?

Great distortion Courtney, but definitely not easy! I couldn't even see the things I KNEW were in there! lol
Loved reading a bit more about you too...so fascinating!

Well, I don't really see anything but what looks like a tree trunk!! But here's my guess: maybe this is a sports themed stamp set!! Thanks for telling us a little more about yourself!

i see a boat anchor? or so i think hahah!! congratulations on your july set!!!!! cant wait to see what it is

Easy?? No way! On the right side it looks like there might be some long border stamps or background builders. Maybe some type of religious theme - the 'anchor' looking image might be a cross and another image blurred together?? Can't wait to see what it really is!

??? It looks like an anchor and a skull to me, so I'm going with Pirates. Doesn't really go with anything you said though...

Tricky, tricky this time! :) I think I see leaves or maybe palm trees..??? Can't wait to see it all!!! ♥♥ Kay

Maybe a tropical set with a Palm tree? This was a hard one.

#1 and #2 have to do with courting or a court and all have to do with stuff you love...so I'm thinking its a lovey dovey sort of set :D But honestly it looks like an ultrasound! Trying to tell us something???LOL!

Amy Kolling said...

Ok, from your *hint*....maybe some background building stamps that would fill your decorating love. Can't wait to what this set is REALLY all about!!

Easy?? This is the toughest one yet! LOL I have no clue.

I see palm trees too, an anchor, the beach, a sun maybe. I don't know if I'm even close or just really wishin' for a holiday. So excited to see this set.

I'm thinking something with sports? Not sure, but excited to see the full stamps! :)

Okay I have NO CLUE! None! Loved reading those thingas about you, I didn't know! Cool job by the way! And do you still play tennis?

Is it a nautical set?

Hmm. It's not as easy for those of us who don't know what it is....I'm guessing an ocean theme. I see fish and a boat anchor. Can't wait to see what it really is!

I was going to guess some sort of religious theme b/c some of the images look like they could be crosses. But maybe just trees. You do love you some fall fest and trees...so I don't know!

Diane Jaquay said...

Well, to be honest, this reminds me of an X-ray I had taken once, but I'm fairly certain the new stamp set is not bones ;)

Good golly girl!! Easy? I think not. I'm gonna go with a beach theme. I see a few things that might be beachy or seahore.

Thanks for sharing those fun facts about yourself! I love learning more about my blog friends! :)
Okk... well as for this set... Hmmm... i'm not sure, but I think one of the images looks like a boat anchor and maybe some surf boards on the side??... LoL... i'm probably totally off!
I can't wait to find out what it really is! :)

Summer Braxton said...

Before I read your facts, I thought it was a palm tree or a power line for birds to sit on.
But now I think it is a tennis set of some sort.
I'm excited about the new release but even MORE excited that you work for LifeWay. I love LifeWay!!!!! Do you get to meet any of the authors published under LifeWay? Sounds very excitiing to me!!

Haha..It's so hard to guess...sailing?

I think I see an anchor and maybe palm leaves. But that does not have to do with anything you told us about you. Thanks for sharing!!

scrapsnsuch@gmail.com said...

This is soooo not easy! I am going with a sea themed set. But I do not see that as being you...hmmmm

Nat said...

no clue, this is a tough one... I kinda thought it was and anchor butI think I see a flower in the center of the image. I can't wait to find out!

jen said...

You with your 'easy'. Whatever! Ha!! :) VERY good distortion, girlie! So, my guess is an anchor, possibly waves & a fish? Nautical or ocean type of set? Can't wait to see it clearly! Fun to hear more about YOU! :)

Kim Wilson said...

Is that an anchor? That is all I can make out girl! You did good on distorting this one :)

Anonymous said...

i cant really see it.. a toughie.. I think it looks like banner, or a hammock, beach surroundings maybe..

cant wait for your new reveal :D

Oh, now this is just mean! Do you KNOW how impatient I am with surprises?! :-) I'm guessing some sort of cool decorative elements?

I love your little facts! My husband was managed a Family Christian Stores for years prior to our move to Spain... but they are the evil competition so maybe I shouldn't tell you that! LOL! I love decorating too, and I am totally with you... there is just never enough money for it all!

It's nice to know a little more about you plus how your blog has grown in readership. Certainly makes it worthwhile to learn people care about what you write or share and your stamps! Re the image, I wanna say it looks like a plant, but maybe it's a home decor item. I love your ideas, Courtney.

I was trying to post yesterday that I thought it was a pirate themed set...even though you dont strie me as a pirate lover LOL...I was close though!!

I saw your blog post and card on twopeas and wow...LOVE the nautical look. Growing up as a child of a Navy Sailor, I can say that this set really touches my heartstrings. Love the rope border, the tall anchor and the coral that would make an awesome border. I bet there is even an oar, some nautical flags and perhaps a lighthouse/beacon. It would be neat too if there was a nautical scale. I can't wait to see the whole set! Now let me go shopping, I'm loving lots of masculine sets you have!
Kerry :)
