The Tuesday Trigger... or maybe not.

Last night I was reading Cath's latest challenge on her blog, and well, apparently I can't read! I thought the challenge was to come up with your own trigger... wrong! But just for fun here was my trigger from CB2:

And here's my card:

I actually really like it. I did realize after I was done that I could enter it into the ruffles challenge! Ha ha... lesson learned ... read!

Stamps: Glee, Thanks (American Crafts)
Paper: White (PTI), Gray (SU)
Pattern Paper: Ripe Avacodo (PTI)
Ribbon: White Satin (PTI)

While I was posting this Maddie almost fell out off my desk and I almost had a heart attack! How do you people have children? I don't think I can handle it! BREATH...

This is great. Love the ribbon treatment and retro colours and style.

Re: Kids....we get gray hair sooner and I think I say to myself at least once a week. "I'm going to die be the age 50 from a heart attack!" or "My kids are going to be the death of me." LOL

I almost fell in the same trap, too, and thought we were to find our own trigger... lol. Fabulous card, Courtney! Love the colors and your ribbon treatment.

This is gorgeous Courtney! And I think you did one of the challenges correctly. At the end of the post you were supposed to create something from your own trigger and send it here tuesdaytrigger@gmail.com. Either way I think it's gorgeous and has the same colors as the original trigger so I think your good to go anyway ;0)

this is very lovely. Yeah, I read it too, and from what I understood, you did do it right. You're suppose to create something from the picture that triggered Kim, and then also create something from a photo or object that triggered you (and that's what you did here). But to send it to that email address to enter for Cath to choose for future Tuesday triggers. So you did great!! :) I enjoyed watching your video posts!! You're tutorial was great and I really want to try those flowers now!!! All your new stuff is really cute!! So fun to get new stuff to play with!!! Now if I could only go to San Diego!! Hehe!!

Beautiful Courtney! Such fun colors! Yes having kids ages you...and you lose a lot of memory! At least I have!

Yea, you can enter it in the ruffle challenge!!! That worked out perfectly. I'm the worst at skimming over directions. I think I'll try to change that this year and make it my New Year's resolution! LOL!!

This card is fantastic. Of course, I LOVE the ruffles and all the wonderful details!!! ♥♥ Kay

Hey Courtney! No worries on the Tuesday Trigger confusion, you're not the only one who misread...and for the record, I was worried that might happen, so I tried to be really clear, but I think as everyone gets the hang of how the Tuesday Trigger works, it will all come together nicely. You're still welcome to submit this to the Tuesday Trigger gmail account for possible inclusion. Just send it to me at tuesdaytrigger@gmail.com!

And thanks for entering the ruffles challenge at the same time! :)
