I'm back...

Wow, sorry I meant to leave a message letting everyone know I would be gone for a couple of days. Hopefully you saw my twitter messages to the right and saw that I was in Atlanta! Chase and I really took a spur of the moment trip!
I did make a quick video about some of the stuff I got on the trip:

Or you can watch it here.

I also whipped up a quick card for my brother-in-law. He's coming tomorrow to fix my car! THANKS CORY! Stamps: Thanks American Crafts
Button: PTI
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Ripe Avocado
Ticket: Jenni Bowlin

Also, I have a couple of updates on the closet. I got my little jewelry shelf together. The little hanger came from IKEA for $2.50. I did have to spray paint it. The little basket is going to be for Chase's watches etc.

We also got coat hangers! IKEA by far had the best price. Don't they look nice?

Courtney...I am very jealous of your closet and your hangers! I wish I had a husband who was as talented as yours with that sort of stuff and could build me such a wonderful unit!

Courtney...I am very jealous of your closet (and your hangers)! I wish my husband was as talented at Chase with that sort of stuff! Isn't IKEA wonderful!? I have been to one in Baltimore and it was fantastic...I just wish we had one closer :)

Glad you got to take that Atlanta IKEA trip! I guess reading your earlier post must've gotten me in an IKEA mood -- today I drove to the other side of Charlotte to do a little IKEA shopping... Fun!

Love the video! I love having wood hangers too- they make all the difference! And you were so close to "home" for me! We are from the Atlanta area. My Mom keeps telling me about Archivers and it sounds like it is going to be very dangerous when we come for a visit!!
Best wishes from Morocco!

Love your card Courtney! You are going to have to teach me how to sew! I bought a Singer craft sewing machine about a week ago... it is still in the box! If I like it... maybe I will invest in a bigger one at a later date!

Hey Courtney! Love the video! You got alot of great stuff! I have been looking for some Amy Butler fabric, I love the bright colors in her line! The PTI stamp you got for the sentiments, was a great idea! It really wasn't my style either, but the sentiments are great! Thanks for the idea! :)

Hello, Courtney, you fabulous, hilarious and amazingly talented crafter and blogstress! Your video is SO funny! I literally needed a hankie to wipe the tears from my eyes! First of all, EXCELLENT sharing! I hope you don't take it the wrong way and all, I don't know if you intended to make it a comedy or not. I simply love your take on "the little things"... and I TRULY support your efforts to write a strongly worded letter to Archiever's! THEY should have one in your area and MINE too! hee hee I just love your narrative and please forgive my "California" generic voice, when I say that I giggled every time you said "I-kea!" VERY FUN, and entertaining stuff! NOT to mention that your cards are lengendarily cool...! And if you're having a hard time defining you style, I'll just wager my opinion: simply "Courtney Baker!"

P.S. Have you checked out www.mycutestamps.com/ (?) Such great "childeren" friendly and versatile images! Plus, totally REASONABLY priced and they ship rocket fast!

Blog on, SISTER!
