One Crazy Week

I have a quick card to share with you today. It's one I made awhile back because I haven't made anything this week. Our sweet little 5lb. Yorkie, Maddie had a seizure on Monday, and we've pretty much been on dog duty this week testing medicine. It was a really bad seizure, but we are hoping the medicine will work. However right now it's too strong and she is like a little deer trying to learn how to walk. Since Chase and I don't have kids, Maddie is our kiddo. So it's been a rough week.

So here's the card!

 1. Make card from cardstock, adhere rub-on.
2. Punch border and adhere to card.
3. Stamp sentiment on cardstock and adhere with foam tape.
4. Cut heart from cardstock and adhere with foam tape.
5. Tie bow.

Rub On: (Out on a Limb, Antique White) Hambly
Stamps: (Key to My Heart) Practicing Creativity
Ink: (Onyx Black) VersaFine
Cardstock: (Innocent Pink) Gina K, (Hibiscus Burst) Papertrey Ink
Ribbon: (Vintage Cream) Papertrey Ink
Punch: (Starburst Border) Fiskars

And I know this card is way way way too pink for me. But I kind of like it... (shhh..). Thanks for stopping by!

I'm so sorry to hear about Maddy! I know the "kid" feeling. Do they know what might have caused it? Oh, and I do love this card, too!

Oh poor Maggie, I know how stressful a sick doggie can be. I hope you get her meds sorted soon. Love your card, it's adorable.

I'm sorry to hear about your doggie. :( Our puppy took a nasty fall a while ago. It was hard to see her so lethargic since her standard is HIGH energy---I knew she was miserable. :( I hope you find the right balance on medication quickly so she's back to her old self again soon.

I'm not much of a pink girl, either, but I love the softness of your card.

That seriously breaks my heart about your little pup. The hubby and I have a couple of dogs and they are our children as well. Hang in there girl and I will pray for your little one. Keep us posted, please.

Love it! Just wait when you decide to have a baby it's so going to be a girl first and you will try not to dress her in pink than when everyone thinks she is a boy you will be buying tons and tons of pink. And her favorite color will so be pink! :> (Sorry just had to!) My daughter often says to me I am not wearing that it's not pink!

Good luck with Maddie and I hope you can find the right balance of meds for her. I've been through the same with a Doberman and it's so heart wrenching to see struggling through it. Big hugs for you and Maddie.

Courtney, I am sorry to hear what you are going through with Maddie! I had a friend go through the same thing! Our furry children touch our hearts too! :-) On a happy note, your card sings those happy thoughts even though I am sure you weren't feeling them!
