Missing You

Do you watch baseball? I used to work for a triple A ball team, so there is something about summer that makes me want to just sit back and enjoy it. Unfortunately my husband has really never been that into it. Don't get me wrong we almost always go to a Braves game each summer and usually if we are traveling we try to catch a game in that city. However this summer Chase has been watching a ton of baseball and we have a trip planned for Atlanta next month to watch two games, but tonight I'm watching the Braves play alone since he's traveling. We've both been tearing up the roads lately. So I thought I'd share this "Missing You" card.
I used that super fun Jillibean Soup gray grid again.

Stamps: (Regal Greetings) Ippity by Unity
Ink: (Onyx Black) VersaFine
Cardstock: (Basic Grey), Lemon Tart (Papertrey Ink)
Patterned Paper: (Grey Sugar) Jillibean Soup
Punch: (Double Embossed Scallop) EK Success
Misc: (Black Pearl Swirl) Prima

Create:
1. Create card from cardstock, cover with patterned paper.
2. Stamp frame and sentiment on stripe of cardstock.
3. Punch scallops, attach to the back of sentiment and adhere
4. Adhere pearls

Yes, I LOVE baseball! The only problem? I love the Cardinals, & my hubby's a Cubs fan--NOT good! Don't worry, we both hate the Braves equally. :P

Love your card--the colors are awesome!

Love the black pearls!! :>

My brother was in Little League as a kid, we went to A's & Giant's games as teens, but I haven't followed baseball much as an adult. Once I started dating my husband, I got into football (grew up with it on & in the marching band in jr. high & high school) and that has become the family rally around sport (Go Seahawks!). In fact, the kidlets are counting down the weeks until it starts up again. lol Why don't you try to go to a game with a friend? That way you could still enjoy it! :>

Oh yea...congrats on getting your stamps into retail locations! :>

Beautiful card Courtney...love the pearl flourish. My hubby is hooked on baseball and tends to have the tele to himself when he is watching it. :-) Not sure if we have any huge comps here in Oz. He watches all the American games....just been told there is an australian pitcher playing for the Braves. Now hubby is complaining that it's not fair that you get to go to a game. lol. He apparently likes to follow the Yankees but thinks the San Diego Padres are doing well.

Lol...the only time my hubby has paid attention to any of my crafting blogs. He would like you know that he is watching Dodgers and Giants right now. He is now off to see who the Braves are playing.

Oh those flourishes are nice and classy! I don't really watch a lot of baseball, perhaps because the excitement over the Brewers have wained considerably?

Love that grey grid paper and your aqua bow on an earlier card is awesome. I'm married to a huge sports fan, so now there isn't a sport I don't watch...lol! Going to see our Indians next week :)
