So, tonight has been kind of crazy. My husband Chase suffers with migraines, and it is horrible for both of us. It obviously hurts him, but sometimes I think it has to hurt me just as bad to watch him be in such incredible pain. So, after tracking down some serious medicine he was finally able to sleep, but after the drama my creativity just wasn't there, so I decided to teach myself how to make a video. Now if Chase was up this video would be awesome, because he's good at that kind of stuff, but I'm a newbie.
Here's the warning. One, you should never watch yourself in a video. I could list a thousand things wrong. I can tell I'm kind of nervous because of the way I'm talking, and seriously is my accent always like that? You can totally tell I'm from Nashville. Oh and I'm so glad I'm getting a hair cut on Thursday... seriously.
This video is pretty simple, just some new products I purchased today that you will be seeing here on the ol' blogo. Oh and for all of you girls that do these on a regular basis... props to you. They are much more time consuming than I ever imagined.

OMG, that was fab, I don't care what you say! It's like you're sitting here chatting with me--LOVE it!
OK, I, too, love BG's Lemonade line AND I just got those feltie things, too...plus, I bought OODLES of PTI goodies--yikes! I got the Button Bits set, both of the couch sets, and then just some ribbon, etc. that I was running low on.
The video isn't showing up for me. ???
Great first video! I don't think I would have the courage to do it, I would feel weird talking to the camera! I'm glad I'm not the only one with an accent, except mine is Texan! (I think they sound similar though) :) Looks like you got alot of cute stuff, can't wait to see what you create! I pray Chase is feeling better!
Great video. Is there anything you can't do? ; ) (About the "black eye," Neil says you should have said, "Oh, and about this black eye, Chase beat me up after I bought all this stuff at the scrapbook store." LOL)
Ha ha, Sally, Neil is always pulling out some good one liners.
Courtney, I have no interest whatsoever in scrapbooking, but you did a great job with this post/video. You kept my attention the entire time.
I think your accent is super cute! Thank you for sharing this video. I loved seeing your purchases. So what did you order from Papertrey Ink? I really like that overlay with the camera on it. I saw it in a magazine the other day. Maybe I should create a digital overlay. Hmmm...ha!
OMG, I loved it! I think your accent is absolutely adorable- it's really not that thick at all. (Well, I'm from Wisconsin, so I can't even understand really thick southern accents. Ha.) I loved it when you held up the LYB paper with the flowers on it and said "I don't really like this, but some of you probably do." I chuckled so hard, because I always have the same thought when I see it: "Why don't I like this paper? It's cute, but I don't think I could ever use it." What did you order from Papertrey? I haven't placed an order yet, but I think I'm going to restrain myself to the "In Bloom" and some other papertrey basics that I don't own yet. I'm loving all of the new stamp sets, though! Thanks for sharing- this totally made me smile. Have a great day!
I think your video is wonderful, very real and it is fun to see what goodies others find! congrats on the bargains and show us your finished goods sometime.
Courtney - your video is fantastic!!! I loved it :) Now I'll hear your voice and that fun accent every time I read a post! unless we're lucky enough to get some more videos (hint, hint, hint)
I know I wrote to you on youtube, but I wanted to tell you again that I loved your video and your accent! Make another one! :)
