I decide since my brain was fried that maybe taking on the Paper Crafts Inspiration Challenge would help. I started looking through some of my older editions. And came across a card from Kalyn Kepner on page 21 of the March/April 2009 issue. Does anyone else get surprised when you run across names in the cardmaking world you don't know? I know I shouldn't ... there are so many talented people out there, but I do. Well I loved her card. And here's what I came up based on it:
To be honest I'm not 100% sure how I feel about it. All the color... it's just not normally my thing.
Stamps: Sentiments, Thanks, Gless (American Crafts)
Card Stock: Hibiscus Burst (Papertrey Ink); Pumpkin Pie (Stampin' Up!)
Pattern Paper: Happy-Go-Lucky Blue Skies (American Crafts); Bitty Box Basics (Papertrey Ink)
Ink: VersaMark, Craft White (Stampin' Up)
Thread: 3713 (DMC)

Also, for those of you that watched my most recent video and left a comment, I've drawn a random winner to receive a few flowers from me:
And random.org gave me number 6.
Julie Campbell said...Another fantastic tutorial!!! Thank you so much! I love the fabric version too!

I love the color! It looks fab! And now I'm hungry after reading about all your food get togethers. :-)
your flowers and cards are sooo cute
Very cute! I love all the color! Those deer remind me of Kelly Marie! :) Yes, I get surprised when I see names I don't know! Sometimes there are so many of the same people, its kind of discouraging! :(
I absolutely love all the colour, but I am generally a colour nut!
It is a cute card, love the deer paper!
Wow! Fabulous flowers!! You should make more and sell them!
Wow, girlie you have been a social butterfly! I'm glad your hubby is feeling better!

Cute card... love the reindeer print!
I swear it must be a unwritten rule that all events should fall at the same time :) Mac & cheese casserole sounds super yummy!
And I love all the color on the card. I must say that the little deer make me think of kelley marie :) I think it's funny when certain items make you think of a specific papercrafter!
