I got in the mood to make some progress on my Chicago mini album. Unfortunately now my craft room looks like this:
And I'm one of those crafters that cleans after every project, so this is pretty out of hand for me.
Remember the cover here? Here is the first page after the cover:
I really have to thank Ali Edward for teaching me that scrapbooking doesn't have to be all 12x12 pages. And even if it is a 12x12 album you can up pages of any size inside. I actually love the way this mix matched sizes look in this mini book.
I decided to stick with a navy, white and black color scheme. And of course polka dots of all different sizes.
For a few of the journal pages I just printed off posts from my blog. It worked out perfectly.
I'm pretty happy with how it's going so far. I hope you all had a great Sunday.

Lookin' good so far! I don't scrapbook at all, but I always wish I would...maybe I'll do one of our trips...
What a great little book! I love all the different sizes! I have been wanting to get some of my scrapbook pages done! Thanks for the inspiration! :)
This looks great Courtney! Love the color scheme and looks like you got some great shots to scrapbook. I am soooo thankful to Ali Edwards too for teaching me the same thing! I am so excited to get started on Carver's scrapbook now that I have been freed from the 12x12 with 2 pages each type thinking. Now if I can just stop buying stuff that I think i want to use in it and actually get started! :-)
Ha ha, love your craft room! :-) Mine looked the SAME until a couple of days ago...:-) I got a versatile desk, so hopefully that will help a little :-)
I love all these projects you are doing, besides cards! You are an all-around crafter. Everything you touch is beautiful! :-)
Way to go! I need to get some scrapbooking done.
You are so good to clean after every crafting project. I am not like that and should be more so. My room is a disaster area.
Looks great!!! I have never scrapbooked before. I get too nervous to try!
I love all the different sized entries in the book! Beautiful!
