My Autumn Pumpkin

Happy Saturday! I hope you have a good one. I'm taking the day to get my life reorganized after a LOT of travel for work lately. I did want to drop by to show you this fall card I made with some gorgeous May Arts ribbon. I used their Halloween Fun Pack that has this really fun orange and black plaid. I love plaid. Seriously, I don't use it as much as I wish I did. Or maybe it's just the arrival of fall, but I love it.

 1. Make card from cardstock, using die cut cut circle in card base.
2. Using a 3.5"x3.5" piece of cardstock, cover front with horizontal pieces of ribbon.
3. Weave in vertical pieces of ribbon adhere to the back of cardstock piece.
4. Adhere ribbon piece behind the circle of the card.
5. Use scrap cardstock to make stem.
6. Tie bow, adhere.
7. Stamp sentiment.


Stamps: Fall Fest (Practicing Creativity)
Ink: Craft White (Stampin' Up)
Ribbon: Halloween Fun Pack, Parrot Green Twill (May Arts)
Cardstock: Kraft (Papertrey Ink)

    Super cute!! Love that May Arts plaid ribbon and the look of the weaving! On the Martha Stewart show last night they made pillows using gorgeous ribbon and this same weaving technique!!!
