You're Dandy Day Four!

Today is all about those rays! Can you tell I love them? Here's a couple of cards I've made where they are on solid cardstock rather than just pattered paper. This is basically the same card with just a couple of changes.

Can't you imagine a set of these with different colors? And here it is with the colors swapped.
Wouldn't it also be cool to ink the edges of the stamp in a different color? Or what about rays in all different colors? So many cool ideas.

And here's a quick video on exactly how this background works!

You can also view the video here.

You don't want to miss tomorrow's post! There are some amazing girls that have made samples with this set.

Don't forget I'll be giving away a stamp set to one commenter from all comments between the first and February 5th at 10 pm eastern. You're Dandy will be available on the 6th!

  2. How Clever!!! I have some Sassafras paper with rays that I've always loved. Now... with this set... I wouldn't have to 'hoard' my paper anymore! I could just make my own! LOVE it!

  6. Another stunning creation. I had to admit that I can't really tell, but have you used these rays with the Colorbox Chalk inks yet? That would be so amazing!! Especially with the new colors that your CHA buddy featured in one of her pictures. Oh, and to create a get well card with the rays coming out of the bottom of a center card! Yeah!

  7. Karen, no I haven't used them with my colorbox inks yet. Colorbox is actually my favorite inks (minus my black VersaFine), but I just have tons of cat eyes. It makes it a lot harder to use those rays with those tiny little cat eyes. Basically I need to invest in larger pads!

The ink I used in the above post (the orange) is not my favorite. :)
